Cave Birthday Parties

Raccoon Mountain Caverns is pleased to offer several different birthday party options. These truly unique tours are designed to offer the children a fun (and memorable) time while they learn about caves and rocks.

Pirate Party: All the pirates are given a treasure map of the cave and start their tour with a loud “Aaaargh!” The Crystal Palace cave tour takes about 45-minutes and, while touring, the children are looking for a treasure chest (which contains their tickets for gemstone panning). After the tour, they find their treasures while sifting through an ore mix containing a variety of semi-precious gemstones, and they get to keep all the stone they find! 

We have a covered outdoor pavilion or indoor room that can be used for the party. We decorate the room in a pirate theme and you can serve your cake, drinks, etc.

Price: $10.00 per child (include cave and gem panning) and $5.00 for adults (cave only). Minimum group size is 10 people.

Princess Party: Ideal for young girls! While walking along the lighted Crystal Palace pathway, the girls encounter the Dark Knight, who wants to keep any treasures in the cave for himself. Fortunately, the Dark Knight does not like the light and is easily frightened by flashlights. The treasure is safe and the girls sift through the treasure bags to find a variety of gemstones -- which they get to keep.

We have a covered outdoor pavilion or indoor room (decorated for the special occasion) that can be used for the party and you can serve your cake, drinks, etc.

Price: $10 per child (includes cave and panning) / $5 per adult (cave only).

Minimum group size = 10 people

High Adventure Down Low Party (Wild Cave): This is definitely will be the birthday to remember! It is especially well suited for those with a thrill for adventure and who like to get dirty. Participants wear old clothes and sturdy shoes and will be provided with helmets, lights, gloves, and pads. We will venture beyond the lights and gravel pathways of the Crystal Palace and into the inner regions of our vast cave system. We crawl, scramble over rocks, slide down mud hills, and walk through large rooms for about one hour. We then emerge from the cave and everyone can change clothes before they head to either our covered pavilion or decorated inside room where you can serve your cake and drinks.

Price: $18 per person (all ages) / Minimum Age: 6 years / Minimum Group: 7 people
