We encourage campers to make advance reservations especially if you are planning to stay on either a Friday or Saturday night or during a holiday period. Anyone seeking either a cabin or large, pull-thru RV site is also encouraged to make advance reservations regardless of arrival date. A reservation is also strongly recommended if you are planning to spend more than one night. All sites are subject to prior reservation, so it is possible that a site that is available one night may not be available subsequent nights.

RESERVATIONS:  You can contact us directly either on our toll free number (800-823-2267) or at (423) 821-9403.  Extension 2 will give you the camp office.

GUARANTEED RESERVATIONS & DEPOSITS: Camp Sites: We require that all reservations be guaranteed. The guarantee can be either in the form of a check for one night’s stay plus tax or a credit card number can be provided. It is our policy not to charge your card in advance (except for cabins) but we will do so in the event that you either do not show or fail to cancel as outlined below. Cabins: We require that all reservations be guaranteed with a credit card. Your card will be charged for one night’s stay plus tax at the time your reservation is made. This amount will be held as a deposit pending your arrival. It is fully refundable, less a $10 (ten dollar) administrative fee if you call and cancel the reservation by 12:00 noon Eastern, 7 (seven) days prior to your arrival date. Please note that your reservation will automatically be canceled in the event that your card is declined. We will attempt to contact you if this should happen so that alternative payment can be arranged.

Special Note for Credit / Debit Card Users: We assume that the credit card number being provided is valid and that sufficient funds are available to cover one night’s stay plus tax (camp sites) or for the amount of your cabin stay in the event that you either fail to show or fail to cancel before the cancellation deadline. By providing a credit card number, you agree to waive your rights to dispute any charge related to a cancellation that is made after the cancellation deadline. A $30.00 payment decline fee shall be imposed if, when we attempt to run your card, it is either declined or is listed as a bad account number. You will be mailed an invoice for the outstanding balance and, after thirty days, the account will be turned over for collection.

CANCELLATION POLICY - Camp Sites: Because we are a small campground, last minute cancellations greatly impact us. Consequently, we have developed a strict cancellation policy which provides for a two day advance notice in order to cancel a reservation without incurring a charge. (For example, if you are due to arrive on a Friday, then you must call and cancel by 12:00 noon on Wednesday). For campsites, all cancellations (including family emergencies, illness, etc.) made within two days of your arrival date will result in your card being charged for one night stay plus tax unless a minimum stay rule applies. We do not permit “postponing” of reservations within the two day cancellation policy. When calling to cancel, please make sure to obtain a cancellation number. Requests must be made during business hours of 9 AM - 5 PM Eastern. We are sorry, but we do not accept reservations or cancellations via either e-mail or messages left on our after-hour answering machine.

CANCELLATION POLICY - Cabins: Because we are a small campground, last minute cancellations greatly impact us. Consequently, we have developed a strict cancellation policy which provides for a seven day advance notice in order to cancel the reservation and receive a full refund of your deposit, less a $10.00 administrative fee. (For example, if you are due to arrive on a Friday, then you must call and cancel by 12:00 noon Eastern the preceding Friday). For cabins, all cancellations (including family emergencies, illness, etc.) made within seven days of your arrival date will result in your card being charged for the entire amount of your stay. We do not permit “postponing” of reservations within the seven day cancellation policy. When calling to cancel, please make sure to obtain a cancellation number. You will be held responsible for all night reserved. Requests must be made during business hours of 9 AM - 5 PM Eastern. We are sorry, but we do not accept reservations or cancellations via either e-mail or messages left on our voice mail.

NOTE: The reservation and cancellation policies listed above apply only to reservations made directly with the camp office. On-line reservations are handled by a third party and are subject to the terms and conditions that must be read and checked before the reservation can be processed.

MINIMUM STAY: We have a two day minimum stay requirement during holiday periods (Memorial Day weekend, July 4th, and Labor Day).

pets

Pets are permitted on the campground (although not in the cabins) but we do ask that you leave the family Pit Bull, Pit Bull mixes, Doberman, or Rottweiler at home. The State of Tennessee has a few rules which must be strictly observed. These include:

  • Your pet must be leashed at all times when outside

  • Your pet must wear a valid rabies ID tag at all times

  • You must immediately remove any pet waste from your site

  • You cannot leave your pet unattended outside your RV or camper at any time. If you leave the site, your pet must either leave with you or be secured inside your RV.

  • We are required to contact the Sheriff’s Department and County Health Department if a dog bite occurs on the property.

Nobody likes a barking dog and we ask that you exercise control over your pet so that we do not receive complaints from your neighbors. In the event that we do receive a complaint, we will ask you to remedy the problem. After a second complaint, we will ask you to keep the pet inside your RV or camper. A third complaint will result in your being asked to leave the park. Naturally, no refund of any camping fees is possible in this situation.
